Chapter Ⅰ, Winter register

Coats made
to be kept
for years.

Double-faced wool outerwear, cashmere knitwear and tailored trousers, drawn in a narrow register and made in small finished runs.

A figure seen from behind in an oversized undyed knit, standing in a bare plaster room cut by hard daylight.
Winter register campaign study
Two figures in charcoal wool coats standing far apart in a vast concrete hall, one wearing a taupe scarf.

Two coats at distance, one accent between them. The chapter carries a single colour beyond the neutrals.

Every piece in the register is photographed as it is made, with the same cloth, same weight and same finished run. What is not yet made is not shown.

The atelier

Cloth is chosen in the hand, not on a screen.

Swatches are worked, washed and worn in the studio before a form is committed. When a run is finished, its full specification is printed with it.
